President Tinubu Over Long Convoy In Lagos

Nigerians have lashed out at President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu after his long convoy of cars was spotted in Lagos on Tuesday.

The convoy was spotted after Tinubu arrived in the state yesterday
from his private visit to London after a successful outing at the Paris
Finance Summit.

Multiple SUVs queue behind each other speeding ahead and behind the president’s official car as he was escorted home yesterday.

Nigerians who saw clip of the convoy condemned the president for such display at a time Nigerians are in deep suffering.

Wasting public funds! As 2022 concluded, Nigeria was home to 3.6
million IDPs, of whom 1.9 million were living in protracted displacement
in the north-eastern state of Borno. In 2022, the government resumed
the closure of IDP camps.May 24, 2023

I have a question. Did they bring all these cars to Lagos from
Abuja? Or these cars are for Lagos branch? Ridiculous cost of
Governance-Nigerians deserve whatever they get.

You can either be the man in the car who everyone stands at
attention for when passing…or be one of the guards..guarding the same
man who has same qualities as you …or be the man recording and shouting
😢😢😢….omo this life is really confusing…I just pray that in all we do
we shall be great and fulfill destiny 😢❤️

Imagine the wastage in government, think about the fuel price per
liter and calculate how much it is to fill up the tanks of all these
cars! Las las, all man go Die!

STOLEN MANDATE 😂😂😂 With Fake certificate, fake Name, fake age, fake Identity, OUR Mandate must be returned.

I counted 112 vehicles 🚗 including the bus 🚌 all together 122
from where the guy started making the video which I think is even more
than that.

I believe each of them consume fuel of about #100,000 if not more
so let’s say approximately 11-12 million naira was used only to fuel
those vehicles from Abj to Lagos, definitely they will buy more when
returning back let’s say another 11-12 million that’s 22-24 million in a
day.

I never calculate food money ooo

So if he dey move like this let’s say 2 times in a month which I
believe say he go pass two times that’s about 48m every month in 12
months which will be around 576 million naira. In 4 years it will be 2
billion 304 million naira. Why not just use 20-30 vehicles.

I no say Una go attack me now for comment section but look am well
na if only fuel dey consume money like this and minimum wages still dey
as he dey no salary increase for civil servants.

Keep the grand running

May this visit to Lagos favour me and my family na all of Una dey always post, how e go take favour Una we go see am. 📌

The President convoy is there, the Lagos state governor’s convoy is
there, also some ministers and senators their convoy are there also
that went to the airport to welcome the president, why are we now
surprised that the convoy is long? Nigerians 🇳🇬 na everything we de
complain about. Pls let Mr President breath 😏😏pls no insult my own
point of view ✍️✌️

Before you talk about the convoy, almost all the Lagos
commissioners were there, like 4 governors, some ministers, senators and
co so that convoy ain’t about Tinubu alone relax even tho it doesn’t
mean they don’t waste our money

Asake’s Lagos concert faces backlash as ₦300k ticket price sparks fan outrage

Ásake’s much-anticipated homecoming concert may be heading into stormy waters as fans take to social media to criticise the staggering ₦300,000 ticket fee.

What was expected to be a triumphant Lagos return for the global Afrobeats star is now spiralling into an online revolt, with many longtime supporters accusing organisers of “pricing out the true fans.”

The sentiment has grown so intense that several fan pages are warning that the high-end pricing could dampen excitement around Ásake’s headline performance.

FlyTime Fest, known for premium concert experiences, has steadily increased its fees over the years, but this latest jump appears to have crossed a psychological line.

Fans have flooded social media with criticism over the ₦300,000 ticket price for Ásake’s Lagos homecoming. Many expressed disbelief and frustration, saying the cost is outrageous and out of reach for those who have supported him since his early street-pop days.

Users questioned the pricing compared to international shows, with some noting that fans abroad can secure seats for less than half the cost.

Social media reactions have been fierce, @Yemmmmie_: “So Nigerians are paying $200 just to stand and watch Asake, while people abroad get seats for under $100? Make it make sense. How do you overcharge the people who actually built the fanbase? It’s giving ‘exploit your own’ and everyone’s just supposed to smile about it?”

@_ayzo: “I really wanted to go for Asake’s show but 300k is too ridiculous.”

@_blondehoe: “Asake ticket prices are ridiculous. Not even Chris Brown, Summer Walker and Travis Scott were this expensive. I might need a Nigerian bf to buy me a ticket soon.”

@richtosho: “Asake concert standing ticket is 300k, Rema 250k, Davido 250k, in a country of particular concern… but they will sell tickets in US for less than $100 ~150k and you might even see Chris Brown and Billie Eilish + 10 other artists… imagine?”
